This urban housing development for Bellway Homes (Manchester) comprises of over ninety units. In addition to the remediation issues attendant on a brownfield site, the scheme involved complex planning considerations, which were resolved through an in-depth urban design appraisal.

The Practice introduced Bellway Homes to an existing client, Muir Group Housing Association, for whom it had completed a social housing scheme at Heron Court to the rear of the site some years earlier. This produced a positive partnership; resulting in successful and discreet integration of affordable housing into the scheme.
